Austin Nevada - Photo Page
  Austin is a historic mining town located in central Nevada.
The town was established in 1862 after the discovery of gold and silver. Austin is located in Toyabe National Forest in a deep narrow canyon.
U.S. Highway 50, which run east and west through Nevada, runs through the middle of Austin - Highway 50 is commonly know as the loneliest road in America. The town of Austin lies directly in the middle of Nevada.
